Leading provider of virtualization, networking and cloud computing solutions in the U.S., Citrix Systems, Inc. (CTXS), has announced that its GoToMeeting mobile application can now be used by Android smartwatch users.

Users can download this popular Citrix application on their Android smartwatches from the Google Play app-store. The application facilitates users to easily and quickly sync videos by simply clicking on the new application icon. It is a browser-based app that allows users to join an audio/video conference without the need to log in, download additional software, or enable plug-ins.

Now Android smartwatch users can easily join or leave a GoToMeeting meeting session without the help of smartphones.

Last month, Citrix Systems launched an innovative app called ShareConnect, which will provide unique desktop-like facilities to iPads and Android-based tablets. ShareConnect promises to make work easier for users who are on the move for the greater part of the day. Through this app, they will be able to access important business applications, files and networks even when they are out of office. The most important thing, however, is that all of these can be done without compromising on Internet speed and the convenience of using regular office desktop features.

Citrix is concentrating on three broad markets: Desktop virtualization, Cloud Infrastructure and networking, and Collaboration and sharing.
