Bhagwan Mahaveer Foundation invites nominations for 18th Mahaveer awards

Bhagwan Mahaveer Foundation Purasawalkam, Chennai has invited nomination for the Eighteenth Mahaveer awards of excellence in human endeavour in community in the activities of propagation of non-violence and vegetarianism, education, medicine and community and social service.

The last date for receipt of the nomination is October 31.

Award in each category would have a cash component of Rs.10 lakh, a citation and a memento. Only individuals who are Indian nationals and institution-based in India are eligible for these awards.

Work carried out during recent times would merit consideration. The evaluation of the nomination will be done by a jury headed by Justice M. N. Venkatachalaiah, former Chief Justice of India and including other persons of eminence.
