PESHAWAR - BUREAU REPORT - PML-N leader Arbab Khizer Hayat Khan has urged the annoyed workers to put off their planned protest sit-in in front of the Governor House. “After the announcement of Governor KP Mehtab Ahmad Khan that Governor House doors will be opened for party workers, there is no moral justification for holding sit-in,” he stated this while talking to the media on Wednesday.
He said our complaints regarding ignorance of party workers by senior leadership have been redressed while assurance has also been given by senior leadership about fulfilling of all demands of the party workers.
Arbab Khizar Hayat said the PML-N workers were greatly annoyed for being ignored by party leadership however after assurance by Governor KP Sardar Mehtab Ahmad Khan for meeting their genuine demands, the disgruntled party workers should have to put off sit-in.
Earlier, a group of PML (N) workers, while expressing displeasure over indifferent attitude of party leadership, had formed a group and announced to hold sit-in in front of the Governor House for meeting their demands. They decided they would not enter the Governor House unless their demands were met.
Arbab Khizar Hayat, who was also among the annoyed party workers, said our plan of holding protest was aimed at getting respect for the workers.
“Internal differences in political parties are beauty of democracy and PML-N workers have the courage to rise for their rights,” they added.
He said he still has differences with PML-N KP President Pir Sabir Shah but decided not to participate in the sit-in after acceptance of demands.
He also demanded of the prime minister to open doors of PM House for PML-N KP workers who have always played an very important role in victory of the party in general elections.
