Onir, Ashish Bisht at Wills India Fashion Week in Delhi

We spotted director Onir cheering for Wendell Rodricks at the Wills India Fashion Week in Delhi recently. When we spoke to the director after the show, he told us, “I’ve been flying in and out of Delhi for my movie for the last few months and have shot all around the city. I’m here for my third schedule, which starts next week and when Wendell found out, he asked me to come a few days early.”
Onir was accompanied by actor Ashish Bisht, who will be making his debut in the film.Ashish, who will be playing the role of an upcoming model in the film, told us that coming to the fashion week added to his homework for the role. He said, “I live in East Delhi, so I’m a complete Dilliwallah. I knew about Delhi fashion weeks but haven’t attended any before. So, this was a fun experience. I’ve done a few TV ads in the past but haven’t been on the ramp ever. So this is a good learning ground for me, seeing see models up close on the ramp.”
Onir added, “Wendell was already doing Ashish’s clothes in the film. But after seeing this show, I have lots of ideas for him to do clothes for my actresses as well. I was sitting and making notes for my favourite outfits in the show and will call him soon.”
