Neelakanta's recent directorial venture,
Maaya is all set to be remade in Hindi as
Murder 4.
Mahesh Bhatt has bought the remake rights of the film and it'll be produced under Vishesh Films banner. And
Neelakanta himself will be directing the Hindi remake. Talking about the development, Neelakanta said, "Mahesh Bhatt is one of my favourite directors and the fact that he has given me a chance to direct the film in Hindi as well means a lot to me.
I'm on cloud nine. In fact, when I narrated the story to MVK Reddy and Madhura Sreedhar, we wanted to make it in Hindi and Tamil; however, we decided to just stick to Telugu version because of budget constraints. Thankfully, everything has worked out in our favour in the end." The film's cast and crew is yet to be finalised for the Hindi version and it's likely to go on floors within a short time. The Telugu version, starring Harshvardhan Rane, Sushma and Avantika, is based on the concept of ESP.
