Meru Cabs, leading cab service operator today announced the launch of its services ?MeruFlexi? and ?MeruGenie? in Chandigarh and informed that similar service would be introduced in Ludhiana, Amritsar and Jalandhar towns of Punjab in next 2-3 months.

The Cab-Wallet feature in the Meru Cabs app, in partnership with Citrus Pay, can be used for payment of the trip. Customers register and load money into the app via credit card, debit card or through net banking. This amount can be used at a click of a button from the app to make payments for their journey.
MeruGenie and MeruFlexi will provide point-to-point service to commuters at an astounding rate of Rs 10 per km. Customers can download the mobile app and book a MeruFlexi through the app, using the promo code MERU150 and get Rs. 150 off on their first trip. This offer is currently available only for MeruFlexi and will soon be extended to MeruGenie as well. In addition to this, customers using android phones can avail of a 5% cash back on every trip paid with the cab wallet.
