JAMMU, Oct 14: BJP today protested against the ceasefire violations by Pakistan and the firing and shelling on border villages which have resulted in killing and injuries to civilians.
Led by BJP State general secretary & former Mayor Kavinder Gupta, BJP activists held a massive protest against Pakistan for violating ceasefire and resorting to firing and shelling on borders. They also burnt the flag of Pakistan amid anti Pak slogans. The demonstration was organized by Jammu West district President of the Party, Subash Jandial.
Kavinder Gupta, while condemning the Pakistan’s firing and shelling on civilian population on borders without any provocation, said that despite agreements and assurances, the neighbouring country indulge in such acts every now and then, which is indeed very unfortunate.

Kavinder Gupta said that the BJP stands with the people in this hour of grief and sorrow and appreciated the strong retaliation by the Indian security personnel which have made Pakistan to realize that the Narendra Modi led NDA Government is not like the earlier weak Congress led UPA Government during whose rule there was soft approach, which had encouraged Pakistan to indulge in firing and shellings.
