Veterinary students continue stir

Students of the Hassan Veterinary College continued their protest for the fifth day on Tuesday.

Congress MLA A. Manju met the students and assured them that he would convey the issues raised by them to the authorities concerned.

Students of Hassan Veterinary College have been staging a protest since October 10 against the alleged failure of the Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University and the State government to obtain recognition from the Veterinary Council of India. Mr. Manjuspoke to the university authorities over phone and asked them to address the problems.
