If there's an engine configuration that is more conducive to producing wonderful noises than the classic V12, we haven't discovered it. I just spent the weekend training myself to salivate every time the exhaust went from low growl to Russian opera climax in an Aston Martin Vanquish, so I'm in the mood for more. And yes, we realize that the 512 BB NART is technically a 180-degree V12, not a boxer, so while it's flat it deserves to be on the docket. Also it sounds great, so deal with it.
