Mazda recalls 478 units over fuel pump defect


(MENAFN) According to China's product equity observer, automaker FAW announced recalling 478 locally-made units of Mazda 6 Atenza over fuel pump defects, Xinhua reported.

Starting October 15, the recall includes defective units manufactured between March 13 and April 24 period. FAW said that it will contact buyers and solve the problem for free.

The affected vehicles may suffer a sudden loss of power due to problems with their fuel pump controllers, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said.
