THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Waybeo, a cloud communication start-up launched by a bunch of fresh graduates from Sree Chithra Thirunal college of engineering,will soon have some illustrious personalities in their board of advisors.
Waybeo has roped in Arup Gupta Ex-TCS president for North America and Subrata Dutta Ex-VP of GE to their Board of Advisors.
The move is part of Waybeo's plans to spread its wings in USA and the company wants to make the most of experience and recognition Arup and Subrata have earned over the years.
Even the remuneration has been fixed in such a way that both these men will ensure that company meets a set target for the next fiscal in USA and then only they will have their pay. Waybeo ound success with its first product ‘Bounzd’ in the Indian Market. Waybeo won several Awards including the “Nasscom Top 10 Emerging companies from India” in 2013 for their innovative solutions and market insight.They made a vast list of big enterprises from India like L&T, Godrej, Mahindra, Lodha Group etc. as their clients.
Waybeo is now taking a big leap with its new platform offering–“Voice Automation for Sales & Marketing” which helps businesses to automate and optimizeevery voice calls happening with their customers. The platform is already well received by enterprises from India. '' The addition of Arup and Subrata to the advisory board will enhance our organizational strength and reduce the learning time to compete in global markets. We will continue to add more strategic experts from the global pool on board in the coming months” - said Bushair, CEO of Waybeo.
With his experience in TCS for over 26 years, Arup played a tremendous part in helping TCS to grow big in the US market. He pioneered the concept of outsourcing into the Wall Street firms in the 90s. Subrata is a Global IT leader, with about 27 years of experience working as CIO and VP for companies like PWC, GE, and Genpact.
“We are pointing at a revenue of 1.5 Million$ from US market for this fiscal year. While our entire country is waving about ‘Make in India and Sell Anywhere’, we want to create tech products of global quality from here and sell it everywhere competing with global companies,'' said Shiv Shankar, CMO of Waybeo.
Arup Gupta said that they plan to create global product brands from India.
