UP CM Akhilesh Yadav attacks BJP, calls them ‘liars’

Launching an attack on the BJP, Yadav called them “liars” for not delivering on any promise.

In the backdrop of the Govandi dumping ground, Uttar Pradesh (UP) Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav addressed hundreds of Muslims and migrants from the state on Sunday. He was asking for votes for a Samajwadi Party candidate who would be the face of the Muslims and the UP migrants in the city.

Launching an attack on the BJP, Yadav called them “liars” for not delivering on any promise. He even spoke about ‘Love Jihad’ being more prevalent in Mumbai than in UP. “As the chief minister of a state I will inform the prime minister that Mumbai’s largest kudo (garbage) dump is in your area, and I will ask him to get it cleaned,” said Yadav.

“When the BJP were in power the last time and the prime minister was chosen from Lucknow, the party had decided to produce electricity from garbage and had spent crores of rupees on the project, however, later they said that the plan failed because the quality of garbage was poor. Such are the lies that BJP tells,” said Yadav.

The SP leader asked the public to beware of the “lies” of BJP as they have promised to clean rivers and certain corners of the seas across the country including Maharashtra. “We want to see how many rivers and seas they clean,” Yadav added.

“Since they have come to power Ache din Kahaan aaye hain? (Where have the good days come),” asked Yadav further alleging that the government has neither reduced corruption nor inflation and has not brought back black money from overseas. Yadav even said that the BJP had promised to keep India’s borders safe at all times when they come to power but have miserably failed.
