Interstate 70 is closed in both directions from Silverthorne to the Eisenhower Tunnel after messy weather caused a number of minor accidents Sunday, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
Icy and snow packed roads have caused “a number of spinouts and a number of minor accidents,”CDOT spokesman Brian Jordon said at about 8:15 a.m.
