Woman bludgeons 5-yr-old daughter to death

ANJAR (Kutch): A woman killed her daughter in Ratanal village of Anjar taluka on Friday evening.
According to Anjar taluka police, the accused Sugara Harun bludgeoned her five-year-old daughter Hafiza Harun to death with a wooden club. Sugara has been booked for the crime on the complaint of her husband Harun but are yet to arrest her. Police said that in their preliminary investigation it was revealed that Sugara was fed up with Hafiza as she was running riot, turning everything topsy-turvy in the house.
"The victim's father Harun told in his statement that his wife told her daughter to keep quiet but to no avail. So, in a fit of rage, she picked up a wooden club and hit her hard on her head, killing her on the spot," said an official from Anjar taluka police.
