Masti at IIT: The annual cultural festival of IIT-Kanpur, Antaragni 2014 of IIT Kanpur began with a bang on Thursday.
Masti at IIT: The annual cultural festival of IIT-Kanpur, Antaragni 2014 of IIT Kanpur began with a bang on Thursday. With over 250 colleges from all across India participating in the event, the campus is buzzing with activity these days. “The entire mood at the campus is of celebration. This is the first time I am participating in Antaragni and I am loving the experience,” said Vatsala, who has come from Delhi along with other students of her college.

Students were spotted at different locations throughout the campus practicing and rehearsing for their performances in various competitions. We spotted Manvinder, Shivani and Nishant rehearsing for their singing competition. “We are from Pune and we are hoping that we will win the competition," said Manvinder.
Selfie Boom: The paintings on the wall being made by students and also the colourful umbrellas hung upside down in the food court made for perfect photo props. Asif was one ardent photographer who clicked pictures of the painting, people and also events. “Photography is my hobby and I’m getting some beautiful pictures here," said he. An array of dishes available at the food court was another draw for the youngsters.
Rock with Agnee: The evening was a more rocking affair with band Agnee performing at the festival. Mohan Kannan and his band of boys entertained the huge crowd with tracks like Kabira, Shaam Tanha and Ujale Baaz till late in the night. Sonia, a huge fan of the band, said, “It’s like a dream come true to watch Agnee's performance live.”
