EXCERPT: Vivica A. FOX Admits to Oprah That She Regrets Not Being a Mom
OPRAH: Do you ever miss being a mother?
VIVICA: Of course.
OPRAH: Really?
VIVICA: If that's the biggest regret of my life that I have is that I didn't have a child but I'm a good godmother.
OPRAH: Really?
VIVICA: Oh yes, I bring the best gifts and throw the best parties. If that's the one thing that I have a regret about, it is that I didn't have a child.
OPRAH: Really?
VIVICA: Yes.
OPRAH: I didn't expect that answer.
VIVICA: Yeah, that's the only thing. I'll never forget seeing Halle ON THE RED CARPET at the Essence luncheon and she just had Nahla. And I said, "Wow she so beautiful. " She said, "Vivica if I knew then what I know now I would've had 5 of them." And she said the joy I see in her eyes is just like no other high that I've ever experienced so I don't get to see my eyes in a child.

EXCERPT: Janine Turner on Her Relationship with Ex-Fiance Alec Baldwin
JANINE: I moved to L.A. when I was 17 in Hollywood. I did a late-night soap and then I did General Hospital. I was at an audition after General Hospital and Alec was across the room and I remember looking at him and he looked at me. We auditioned together and I didn't get the part. So later I asked why I didn't get the part, and they said, "Alec was so taken with you, he couldn't concentrate!" So I lost the part. But Alec was very persistent. And so we fell in love. I was a good old Baptist Texas girl, so we became engaged. We had the dress, the invitations, the church, everything; and then we called it off. Mutually called it off.

EXCERPT: How Peter Ostrum Landed the Role of Charlie in 'Willy Wonka'
PETER: Do people still recognize me? No. Occasionally I'll get somebody that say, "Oh, I can see it in your eyes. I can see it now. You were Charlie." As far as getting the role for Willy Wonka, I lived in Cleveland, Ohio. They had a children's theater of which I was a member so they sent a representative from the casting agency out to Cleveland. I was in sixth grade at the time. In the end, I was in the right place at the right time.
