HYDERABAD: Senior educators from over 100 schools in the city congregated at a principals’ conference hosted by Hyderabad Sahodaya Schools Complex (HSSC) in the city on Saturday. The event provided a platform to these educators to interact, discuss and deliberate over a wide range of subjects, beyond academics.
“We realised that there is plenty we as principals and senior educators can learn and gain from each other, but what we lacked was a platform.
Therefore we decided to host a conference like this, where principals can meet, connect, talk, share and discuss,” said Seetha Murthy, secretary HSSC and principal, Silver Oaks School, Bachupally.
“Events like these would also help us discover interesting people within the members of HSSC,” Murthy added. Hyderabad Sahodaya Schools Complex is a 20-year-old association of CBSE schools in Hyderabad with over 110 member schools.
“Our main aim in hosting this conference was sharing the best practices followed in every school and empowering teachers to be change-makers and leaders” said Naveen Reddy, chairperson of HSSC and principal, Takshila Public School.
