Take over Nokia unit, says Karunanidhi

Accusing the government of not doing anything to prevent the closure of the Nokia unit at Sriperumpudur, DMK president M. Karunanidhi on Saturday suggested that the government took over the factory.

In a statement here, he wanted the government to look into the reasons for the company’s decision to close the unit that was brought to the State by the former Union Minister, Dayanidhi Maran.
