Flavour of Devar in Seeni?

Director Rajadurai aspires to bring the excitement and flavour of Chinnappa Devar’s films in his forthcoming Seeni . Rajadurai's last film was I Love You Da , released in 2004. “After that, I joined director Suraj and worked with him on several films. Gaining substantial experience, I have now started shooting Seeni with Oviya in the lead. The story revolves around an elephant and its keeper, played by Senthil. And, there is Sanjeevi, and a new comedian, Bharat Ravi. Typical of Devar's films, there will be a strong story with family sentiment and love,” says Rajadurai.

Sathya becomes Danny

He made his first outing as a composer last year with a film titled Sibi (Rajkumar and Nandita), under the name Sathya W. “Unfortunately, the film didn't make a mark and around the same time, another composer by the same name established himself in the industry. Consequently, some of the producers and I decided that I should adopt a new name and henceforth, I will be known as Danny Jackson. I am working on a few films that are in different stages of production. Kattaru directed by Anna and Tamaraikulam directed by Senthil have progressed considerably,” says Danny who has also done a video, titled Bharat Maa , sung by Javed Ali in Hindi and himself in Tamil.

Nikesha teams up with Nakul

Her third Tamil film (after Yennemo Yetho and Thalaivan ) Narathan has just been wrapped up and Nikesha Patel is taking a breather in Mumbai, before she starts work on her next. “I have signed Naga Venkatesh’s next film after Narathan , which will go on the floors soon. Meanwhile, the audio launch is scheduled for Narathan . And, of course, I must mention the Kannada-Tamil bilingual, Alone , directed by JK, work on which will start soon,” says Nikesha who is paired with Nakul in Narathan .
