Techie slips from five-storeyed building and dies

A 27-year-old techie, working in an IT firm, died after he slipped from the five-storeyed residential building where he was staying in Mico Layout on Friday.

The deceased was Rana Dwarakeesh, a native of Darbhanga in Bihar. According to the police, Dwarkeesh was working for a finance company in Domlur as customer adviser and staying in a rented apartment with his friends in Balaji Layout in Mico Layout.

On Friday, Dwarkeesh returned home with his friends. After having a party he went to the terrace for a smoke. While sitting on the parapet wall, Dwarkeesh lost balance and slipped from the building. He sustained severe head injuries and died on the spot.

The Mico layout police have registered a case of unnatural death and are questioning his friends to ascertain any foul play.
