UDHAMPUR, Oct 8: After conducting tour of the hilly areas of Ramnagar, particularly Dudu-Basantgarh area RS Pathania, general secretary, Pradesh Youth Congress has demanded immediate relief and rehabilitation measures in Ramnagar Assembly segment.
“A crisis-like situation has been prevailing in areas of Dudu-Basantgarh, where incessant rains have caused whopping losses to standing maize-crops. The said damages need to be compensated adequately by the Government”, he added.
He also took a dig at the CAPD for not giving timely and full scale of ration to the people. He also sought direct SRTC bus service from Basantgarh to Jammu.
Among others present were Shiv Charan, working president, BCC Dudu Basantgarh, Manzor Ahmed Sarpanch, Girdhari Lal Sarpanch, Raj Kumar Sarpanch, Jag Mohan Sarpanch, Farooq Ahmed Sarpanch, etc.
