President of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee G. Parameshwara said the appointment of chairpersons to various boards and corporations will be done shortly.
Speaking to prespersons after inaugurating a private gym here on Monday, he said 10,000 applications to the above stated posts have come from the party’s district units and it takes time to scrutinise them. He said the delay in the appointments have not affected the administration of the State. He said Cabinet expansion is the prerogative of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and giving him the Deputy Chief Minister’s post is left to the party’s high command.
