JAMMU, Oct 5: Lions Club Jammu Royal, today organized a relief camp for flood effected residents of Tawi mohalla, Company Bagh, Commerce College Lane, Jammu.
In the camp 150 double bed fleece blankets and misc. clothes were distributed amongst the residents of the area. Water upto 4-feet had entered the houses in the areas and washed away their belongings. This camp was orgainsed in co-operation with Lion JBS Choudhary and Baba Kashmira Singh Sewa Sansthan of Jallandhar. Residents requested for organised a medical camp in the area which was accepted by the Lions Club and a mega medical camp will soon be orgainsed in that area.
Lions Gautam Jamwal, Ajay Kapoor, Sanjay Nagpal, Yudhvir Sethi, B B Kotwal and Anil Gupta were the prominent Lions Club members who were instrumental in orgainsing relief effort.
