For Nivetha Thomas, it is her friends who are biggest critics. The young actress says, “They watch my films and say it to my face if they don’t like it.”
Her latest release Money Ratnam opposite Fahadh Faasil was appreciated as she shed her naadan avatar in the film. “All the roles I have done so far are with the normal attire but this film saw me in trendy clothes. It was the song Paisa Paisa which was liked by most of them.” Speaking about her role of a social worker in the film, she says, “I am like her in my real life too.
Pia is simple yet modern and an independent woman.”
Acting with Fahadh Faasil was a great experience for Nivetha and she says he is ‘the actor’ to work with. “We always wanted to do a film together post Chappa Kurishu. I used to mock him, saying, ‘I am the last heroine to see you as a bachelor and the first one to see you as a married man.’”
But the actress doesn't want to get typecast and is careful about her selection of scripts. “Good projects do come but I am choosy.” Currently it is Jeethu Joseph’s Papanasam which she is excited about. Nivetha plays the role of Ansiba in the Tamil remake of Drishyam.
