BHOPAL: Hot and humid weather conditions prevailed in the state as monsoon has not fully withdrawn and winter is yet to onset. Weatherman said monsoon has still not completely retreated from Madhya Pradesh.
Though southwest monsoon normally withdraws from the state capital by last week of September, it is still active leading to sultry weather conditions.
Nights temperatures are also on the higher side across the state.

Both day and night temperatures will start falling as the month advances, weather office of Bhopal said adding, but at the moment, "weather fluctuations" would continue.
So far monsoon has withdrawn from some parts of northern and western MP. On Saturday, mercury remained around 35 degrees celsius mark at some places in the state. It touched even 38 degrees celsius in Datia while neighbouring Gwalior registered a maximum temperature of 37.6 degrees celsius.
Temple town of Khajuraho also simmered at 36 degrees celsius while the maximum temperature in Bhopal was 35 degrees celsius. Maximum temperature at hill station of Pachmarhi was recorded at 31 degrees celsius.
In the forecast for Sunday, officials said dry conditions would prevail at a majority of places in state, including Bhopal.
