Soldier killed, another wounded in IED blast in J&K
An Army solider was killed while another was wounded when an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) went off at Mendhar near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu & Kashmir’s Poonch district on Saturday.
JAMMU: An Army solider was killed while another was wounded when an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) went off at Mendhar near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu & Kashmir’s Poonch district on Saturday.
“The explosion went off when a patrol was patrolling the area," said a defence source. The slain was identified as Akshaya Godbole and the wounded Shubam Khadatkhar.
Godbole died on his way to hospital while khadakter’s condition was said to be stable.
