Footage shows the planning of attack and parking ammunition-laden car at various places in Karachi
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Dunya News has received the CCTV footage of the planning and carrying out of the bomb attack on SP Special Investigation Unit Karachi Farooq Awan. Car carrying the ammunition can be seen being parked at various places of Karachi in this video.
Terrorists kept wandering around the city in the ammunition-laden car for hours and went unchecked. The car was parked in Gazri Bazar at 6:55 pm. Till 7:32 pm, terrorists kept wandering around the streets of Defense Housing Society and Gazri. At 8:30 pm, car was parked outside Farooq Awan’s house. Terrorists kept talking while standing by the car for few minutes. Finally, terrorists parked the car near Gazri Graveyard.
At this time, the terrorist who is acting like a handicapped person, got off the car and escaped. Few minutes later, at 9:04 pm, a loud explosion took place at the car. According to the sources, the CCTV footage is of highly sensitive areas where terrorists kept wandering in the car laden with ammunition. Two terrorists kept following the car on the roads of Karachi and nobody stopped them at any point.
Sources claim that ID Police raided a few places to arrest two terrorists with the help of this footage. Both the terrorists are Burmese nationals and are experts of preparing ammunition-laden cars.
