Cory Home Delivery Expands With New Distribution Complex

Expanding to better serve clients in the New York Metro area, Cory Home Delivery opened a large, 120,000sf - two-building complex in North Bergen, New Jersey only eight miles from New York City.

This new location is part of a strategic expansion plan for Cory as they continue to grow the company in their 80th year in business.

“We are delighted to grow our business by providing services for Bob’s Discount Furniture and Wayfair, and many other clients from this three-acre complex.” says CEO Patrick Cory.

Patrick, along with Chairman Joe Cory, Sr., welcomed over one-hundred fifty industry guests, clients, vendors and employees to a ribbon cutting ceremony and celebration. They thanked the Cory start-up team, led by Managing Partner Marin Dragojevic and COO Bob Alter, for the amazing transformation of these warehouses into a beautiful and efficient distribution operation. Marin stated, “This celebration marks the beginning of a new venture, but for the special few, this journey began many months ago on a crisp winter morning...when the search began for a warehouse that could provide in-home delivery services to the greater NY Metro area. Since February, we have made deliveries out of this complex, and we have done it, despite setbacks and challenges, with a quality and execution second to none in our industry.”

Peter Sorrentino, Vice President of Delivery Operations and Outbound Logistics from Bob’s Discount Furniture stated during his congratulatory remarks about their partnership with Cory, “do it right the first time, do it first class and do it as a professional is why we are partners with Cory.”

In conclusion of the ceremony, Patrick presented a donation to the Nicholas Sacco Foundation, which supports the children within the community; and to Our Lady of Fatima Church which prepares and provides meals to the local communities.

Guests were invited to take a tour of both buildings and enjoyed a BBQ lunch.
