LeBron James Jr., is only 9-years-old. However, age means nothing in the world of college basketball, where the notion of landing a prospect with such a pedigree. Ohio State coach Thad Matta agrees.

It’s not a stretch to think that the younger LeBron could play for the Buckeyes in nine or 10 years. His dad shows up to Ohio State football games all the time, and coach Urban Meyer has asked him to attend every home game.

LeBron Jr., is already tearing things up at the AAU level, taking his team to the fourth grade national championship in Kentucky last July. Kentucky coach John Calipari was on hand to watch LeBron Jr., make plays like this …

Will Prince James (that’s his nickname, right?) live up to his dad’s legend? If Marcus and Jeffrey Jordan are any indication, probably not. But there’s still plenty of time for young LeBron, which means there’s plenty of time for Thad Matta and John Calipari to put together the perfect recruiting pitch.
