The singer performed his popular numbers, including Dil Le Gayi, sending the crowd into a mad frenzy.
The dandiya destination: Pallavi Varshney, who had come from central Delhi to the event, told us, “I am a doctor and I work at Maulana Azad Medical College in Delhi.
My colleagues and I were scouting for places where we could go for dandiya in Delhi, but we couldn’t find anything there, so we ended up here. Gurgaon has more of these events and is much more happening.”
Another guest, Tanupriya Gupta, a lawyer with the Delhi High Court, said, “In Delhi, everything is community-based and nothing happens at this grand a level. We really don’t mind travelling as Gurgaon is the place to be during festivals.”
