Matty Pattison: Gateshead sign ex-Newcastle midfielder

Gateshead have signed former Newcastle United midfielder Matty Pattison until the end of the season, subject to international clearance.
South Africa international Pattison had been playing in his native country following spells with the Magpies and Norwich City.
He will wear the number 25 shirt for the Tynesiders once the move to the International Stadium is ratified.
"I'm really excited to get started," 27-year-old Pattison said.
"Hopefully my clearance will come through, and I can get stuck in straight away."
