THE Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) is introducing a Quick Impact Project (QIP) to support the aquaculture industry in areas hit by Super Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan), particularly in the provinces of Samar and Leyte.
In a statement, JICA said it has started implementation of an integrated oyster and milkfish farming, with some 50 fish pens and 25 oyster racks to be installed in Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Tanauan in Leyte.
