Stoke City are yet to address the issue of Victor Moses' future, with the winger having made a bright start to his loan spell.
Moses has moved to the Britannia Stadium on a season-long agreement after being deemed surplus to requirements at parent club Chelsea.
He spent the 2013/14 campaign taking in a similar deal at Liverpool, although he struggled for regular first team action at Anfield.
That has not been the case at Stoke, with Mark Hughes delighted to have a proven Premier League performer – and one that graced the World Cup finals with Nigeria over the summer - at his disposal.
It is already being suggested that Moses will be offered the option to stay on next summer, but Stoke chairman Peter Coates says no approach has been considered as yet.
He said in The Sentinel: “Although we are delighted with the start he has made for us, it is still very early days and so where that one goes I have no idea.
"We haven’t even discussed it yet because we are so early in the season and such a lot can happen, so there is no sense of urgency.
"I’m just pleased with what he has produced so far and pleased that we have him for the whole season.
"He’s hard-working, quick, clever and looks a very good player.
"He’s not played a lot of games so, who knows, he could improve. But it’s certainly nice for him as well to have got off to such a good start with us."
