Shruti Haasan has now joined the likes of Farhan Akthar, Ranveer Singh, Yuvraj Singh, Anushka Sharma, Sunidhi Chauhan and Neha Dhupia to speak out against the atrocities and discrimination against women in the society.
Lending her support to a new campaign titled 'Reach for the sky', Shruti Haasan said, "We need to put an end to discrimination against women and the power to bring about this change lies in our hands.
So let's start now. Enable, empower and transform. Chulein Aasman." In the past, the actress had supported various other noble causes including raising awareness about AIDS, child education and recently, she was spotted at a campaign in Mumbai to raise funds for the Kashmir flood victims.
Meanwhile, Shruti Haasan has wrapped up shooting for her upcoming Tamil film Poojai, in which she's paired up with Vishal. Currently, she's in Dubai, where she's shooting for her next Hindi film, 'Welcome Back' in Dubai.
