Inter-School Poem Recitation Competition held

JAMMU, Oct 1: ASN Higher Secondary School, Channi Himmat today conducted Inter-School Poem Recitation Competition in which 45 students from various schools participated in two different categories.
On the occasion, Neeraj Sharma, Additional Deputy Commissioner Jammu was the chief guest, while AK Kapoor, Chairman Adarsh Educational Trust presided over the function. Smita Sethi, Joint Director Information, Jammu, Randheer Singh, SP Headquarters, Jammu, PB Kapoor, MD Adarsh Educational Trust and KS Jasrotia, Additional SP Security, Jammu were the guests of honour.
Harish Kaila, Music Composer Radio Kashmir Jammu and Shailender Slathia, Assistant Registrar, CU were judges for the Inter-School Poem Recitation Competition.
The welcome address was presented by Rahul Kapoor, Secretary Adarsh Educational Trust. Ritesh Kapoor, Administrator of the school briefed the audience about the rules and regulations of the event.
In Junior Group, Arjunveer Singh of First Step Playway School, Trikuta Nagar stood first while Rekha of ASN Higher Secondary School, Channi Himmat and Alleena of Shemrock Playway School, Greater Kailash claimed second and third positions respectively. Consolation Prizes were given to Nandita of Satya Public School and Mahi of ASN Higher Secondary School, Channi Himmat.
In Senior Group, Wani Adhar Fayaz of ASN Higher Secondary School, Channi Himmat stood first, while Priya Mahajan of First Step Playway School and Owasi Tariq of Satya Public School School secured second and third positions respectively. Consolation Prizes were given to Amit Kumar of Tiny Tots Higher Secondary School and Aitsham Ali of ASN Higher Secondary School, Channi.
In the end, Vandana Trehan, Overall House Incharge of the school presented vote of thanks.
