CM opens two ITI complexes, a high school in rural Porbandar

Gujarat Chief Minister Mrs. Anandiben Patel today appealed to the citizens of state to take a pledge to eradicate the evil of “Malnutrition” from developed Gujarat as it presents a darker side of the state compared to the growth-stride it (Gujarat) has taken.
The Chief Minister made this appeal at function held for laying the foundation stone for the under-ground sewerage scheme to be implemented at Ranavav nagarpalika at a cost of Rs 7476-lakh.
The Chief Minister said her government was in constant endeavor to extend the maximum benefits of welfare schemes to the rightful persons which is fulfilling the meaning of welfare-state in a true sense and its fruits are reaching to the last man of the society.
Mrs. Patel also dedicated to the people – newly constructed High-School at a cost of Rs 146 lakh at Billeshwar in Ranavav, and I.T.I. and I.T.I. complex built at a cost of Rs 591 lakh and Rs. 594 lakh, respectively, at Kutiyana.
In year 2030, 60% of the state population would be residing in the urban areas and we have already chalked out a plan to meet the needed infrastructure, Mrs. Patel announced with a convicted tone.
Others who spoke on the occasion included Ranavav nagarpalika’s President Mr. Shamatbhai Odedra, Gujarat Agriculture Minister Mr. Babubhai Bokhiriya, and others.
