Heads of Choedays attend sensitisation workshop

Heads of Choedays-WorkshopMore than 50 heads of different Choedays in Lhuentse, Monggar, Trashigang and Trashi Yangtse attended a sensitisation workshop on Life Skills in Trashigang.

They were educated on HIV/AIDS, domestic violence, sexual harassment, teenage pregnancy, and suicide, among many other social issues.


Ati Foundation, the Organiser, believes monks and other religious figures or spiritual heads can be an affective “agent of change” in their communities.

Ati Foundation is registered with the Commission of Religious Organization. It conducts teachings including Baza guru Dungdrubs. It also holds Buddhist counselling sessions to victims of violence and domestic problem, among others.
