Lynch mob kills three dacoits in Karachi

Two brothers of Arshad Pappu, main suspects of Lyari gang war in Karachi were killed by police.

KARACHI (Dunya News) — Two dacoits have been caught and tortured by the residents of UP Mor in North Karachi on Wednesday, Dunya News reported. The two dacoits were critically injured and were immediately shifted to the Abbassi Shaheed Hospital. The dacoits, however, succumbed to their injuries and died.

Meanwhile, a man was killed in a firing incident in Korangi town of Karachi. The unknown men who opened fire were caught and beaten up by the residents of Korangi town. Two of them died on the spot after being brutally injured and one of them was arrested by the police.

In a separate incident of violence in Godhra area of Karachi, a man was killed in firing by a group of unknown men. According to police, the man was affiliated with a religious organization.

Another man died in firing in the Chanesar Goth area of Karachi and couldn’t be identified as per the police sources.

On the other hand, two brothers of Arshad Papu, a criminal belonging to the Lyari gang war were killed in a police encounter. Three policemen also got injured during the encounter.

In the meantime, the Anti-Violent Crime Cell and the CPLC carried out an operation to recover a captive in the Jinnah Avenue of Karachi. The suspects opened fire on the police and in the retaliatory attack two of the kidnappers were killed whereas three policemen got injured.

While the police was shifting the dead bodies of the kidnappers to a hospital for post-mortem, eight suspected bike-riders opened fire and threw two hand grenades on the police.

According to SSP Nasir Aftab, the two men have been identified as Shera and Abdullah. Both of them are brothers of Arshad Pappu who is one of the main suspects of the Lyari gang war in Karachi. Hand grenades, Kalashnikov, walky-talky and mobile sims have been recovered from the suspects.
