Leopard attacks youth in Bhavnagar village

BHAVNAGAR : A leopard attacked 30-year-old Mulrajsinh Gohil in Panchvada village of Sihor taluka in Bhavnagar district on Tuesday morning. Sources said that the leopard leapt at Gohil when he was working at his farm.
A scared Gohil shouted for help and people working nearby rushed to the spot and informed the forest department personnel. Gohil is being treated at government hospital in Sihor and his condition is said to be serious.
Forest department officials have placed cages at different places around the village to nab the wild cat. Sources said that leopard might have come from the hills of Palitana and Ranigala area in the district.tnn
