GATE 2015 zones: Centres for examinations

Candidates appearing for GATE 2015 will be appearing at centers for their written examination.
While filling the application forms candidates are provided with a choice to choose test centers on their own as a place to appear for the test.

• There are two primary choices and one secondary choice to make selection of the city.
• If a candidate chooses a particular city as first choice, then the corresponding zone to which the chosen city belongs will appear, and the candidate can choose second city from this zone only.
• The chosen cities will become primary choices in a specific zone.
• The third choice of the city will be specified by each zone and this will be used only when primary choice of cities made will not be available.
