NHL Approves Sale of Minority Interest in New York Islanders

The National Hockey League approved an agreement for former Washington Capitals co-owner Jon Ledecky and London-based investor Scott Malkin to buy a minority interest in the New York Islanders.
The NHL’s board of governors unanimously approved the deal yesterday, the league said in an e-mailed news release.
