October 10 limit to resolve water issue

NASHIK: Deputy mayor Gurmeet Bagga has asked officials of the civic body's water supply department to resolve water supply issues in various areas of Panchavati by October 10.
At a meeting convened on Tuesday evening with the corporators of Panchavati division and NMC officials, Bagga instructed them to do the needful. The corporators were visibly upset with the officials and claimed that they had complained about the problem number of times.
"There are two water tanks for the Borgad, Makhmalabad and Mhasrul areas. But the timing for filling the water tanks and for releasing the water for supply is the same. As a result, there may be water problems in some areas," said an official.
