Three held with large quantity of illicit liquor

JAMMU, Sept 30: Police arrested three persons along with large quantity of illicit liquor pouches from Badhole area, falling under the jurisdiction of Ramnagar police station.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, police team from Ramnagar Police Station conducted a raid in Badhole area and arrested three bootleggers with 108 pouches of illicit liquor.
The accused have been identified as Ashok Kumar, son of Thakur Dass of Badhole, Ramnagar, Vijay Kumar, son of Nasib Chand of Badhole, Ramnagar and Jagdish Singh, son of Ram Ditta of Ghara, Ramnagar.
A case under FIR number 105/14 under Section 48 (A) Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Ramnagar and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Ramnagar Police Station Inspector Deepak Pathania made the arrests under the supervision of Abhishek Sharma, SDPO Ramnagar and Suleman Choudhry, SSP Udhampur.
