Following his breakout role as Zero in Wes Anderson’s “Grand Budapest Hotel,” Tony Revolori has joined the cast of Sony’s sci-fi pic “The Fifth Wave” starring Chloe Grace Moretz.

The pic also stars Nick Robinson and Alex Roe with J. Blakeson directing.

GK Films topper Graham King is producing with Tobey Maguire and Matthew Plouffe of Material Pictures along with Lynn Harris. Sony is co-financing and distributing.

Susannah Grant adapted Rick Yancey’s YA Novel which follows a 16-year-old who survives four waves of deadly attacks against the Earth’s population and meets a mysterious young man, played by Roe.

Revolori plays the easygoing medic who is one of the young human rebels in the army of children who must rise up against “the Others.”

Production is currently under way.

Revolori most recently wrapped filming one of the lead roles the indie feature “Dope” opposite Zoe Kravitz and Kimberly Elise. He is repped by UTA and Circle of Confusion.
