ICHEON: (Dunya News, Web Desk) – Pakistan defeated Malaysia in the semi-final of the Asian Games Hockey event. Pakistan defeated Malaysia on penalty shoot-outs by six goals to five.
Pakistan will play traditional rival India in the final of the event for Gold Medal. Semi-final between Pakistan and Malaysia remained undecided in the allotted 70 minutes. On penalty shoots, both teams could score only 4 goals each and the match was finally decided on Penalty-shoots sudden death. Pakistan finally defeated Malaysia by 6 goals to 5.
