Four children sustained injuries after a car lost control and ploughed into a house in a locality under Safiabad police station area in Bihar's Munger district this afternoon, police said.
The incident took place in Heru Diara locality as a speeding Tata Nano car stormed into a roadside house after the driver lost control, sources said.
Four children, identified as Indira Kumari (8), Baby Kumari (8), Pintu Kumar (7) and Prabhu Kumar (3), sustained severe injuries after being run over by the four-wheeler, they said.
The injured children were taken to the Sadar hospital for treatment, the sources said, adding the driver too received injuries after beaten up by the local people and admitted to the same hospital.
