GHAZIABAD: Two persons have been booked for allegedly attempting to murder a 35-year-old Delhi-based lawyer in Sahibabad on Monday. The victim, Siddharth Kundu, who is also a Youth Congress office bearer in northwest Delhi, told police that two bike-borne youths opened fire on his car. One of the two shots fired at him hit the left side of the car.
"They fired from a distance of around 5 feet.
The second bullet entered the car and got stuck a little below the window panes on the left side of the car," Kundu told TOI.
An FIR was later lodged in the Sahibabad police station. "The complainant has named his father's younger and older brothers, respectively, as suspects behind the murder attempt. He has laid suspicion on the two persons because of a long-standing property dispute he has with them. Further investigations are on," said Arvind Yadav, DSP, Ghaziabad.
