YSR Congress to mount pressure for the early implementation of farm loan
Rajahmundry: YSR Congress to take up stir in protest against the state government’s move to cancel the pensions to several beneficiaries under the guise of weeding out ineligible persons and mount pressure for the early implementation of waiver of farm loans in front of offices of tahsildars on October 16.
YSR Congress leader Routhu Suryaprakasa Rao on Monday alleged that the TD government was trying to deprive the pension benefit to several beneficiaries and cautioned that if the government removed the names of genuine beneficiaries in the name of survey, they would take up agitation.
He expressed concern saying that in the name of survey, the government was trying to eliminate the beneficiaries from several housing schemes and said that a good number of beneficiaries in several housings schemes were from Telugu Desam only. Speaking on the occasion, YSR Congress central committee member Jakkampudi Vijayalakshmi wondered as to why the government failed to start execution of works for ensuing Godavari Maha Kumbh Mela.
