BJYM discusses issues

LEH, Sept 28:  A meeting of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha Leh was held here today at party office under the chairmanship of Dorje Angchuk, President, BJYM Leh with Ashok Koul State organizing general secretary.
During the meeting Dorje Angchuk welcomed  Ashok Koul with traditional ‘Khataks’.On the occasion, Dorjay Angchuk highlighted the four months achievements of Thupstan Chhewang MP Ladakh.
He said during this period extension of sections in KV School was done and more than one hundred needy students were admitted in the School. During this period PM’s visited  Leh and Kargil, for activation Mobile tower at Chushul, announced 50 crore for Pashmina production, 100 crore for maintenance of NH1 from Srinagar to Leh, 436 crore for ugradation of 28 roads under PMGSY and made the criteria easy for local contractors, Immediate repulsion of Chinese from Chumur, launching of Pradan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana.
They also highlighted the works which are under process including extension of Kargil Airport, making Airfare cheaper, Tunnel at Zojila and Khardongla, Deem University to CIBS, Inclusion of Bhoti language in 8th Schedule, installation of Mobile tower in all villages and telephone connectivity, opening of Engineering College in Ladakh and reconstruction of streams which was washed by flood in 2010 . He also thanked Ashok Koul for his contribution in Lok Sabha election.
On the occasion, Ashok Koul complimented all members of BJYM for their hardwork in the victory of Lok Sabha elections by the Party in Ladakh and congratulated the youth for the same. He also highlighted the plans and strategies to achieve Mission 44+ in upcoming Assembly election.
The meeting was also attended by Konchok Stanzin vice president BJYM, Tsering Stanzin VP, Tsewang Norphel general secretary,  Gurmet Sogor secretary and all prominent members from all regions of Leh districts.
