Daniel Lasco catches longest touchdown in Cal history

Sep 27, 2014

With Cal backed up deep in its own territory while trailing Colorado 21-7, quarterback Jared Goff threw a short swing pass to running back Daniel Lasco for what looked to be a minor gain.

Lasco, however, had other ideas. He evaded multiple tacklers and broke away from the entire Colorado defense for a 92-yard touchdown. It wasn't just Lasco's first receiving touchdown of his career -- it was the longest passing play for a touchdown in Golden Bear history, and it was one of many scores in the Golden Bears' thrilling 59-56 victory as seen on Pac-12 Networks.

Along with a record-setting catch and run, Lasco rushed 18 times for 108 yards as the Golden Bears rebounded from a loss at Arizona last week by way of Hail Mary.
